Japan-Israel Hi-Tech Ventures

Japan-Israel Hi-Tech Ventures is a series of venture capital funds managed by Singapore-based asset management firm The Chartered Group. The series includes at least two funds: Japan Israel High Tech Ventures 1 (JIHTV1), a 2019 vintage fund, and Japan Israel High Tech Ventures 2 (JIHTV2), a 2021 vintage fund. JIHTV1 focuses on early-stage startups, particularly those from Tel Aviv University. JIHTV2 focuses on deep tech companies in sectors like healthy aging, connectivity, automation, and environmental tech, and has a strategic partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defense's R&D agency, MAFAT. The funds invest in companies in Israel and Japan.
