An independent SEC Registered Investment Advisor, Southern Equity provides investment sourcing and screening, due diligence, and deal support to its investment partners – primarily the family offices of highly successful entrepreneurs. Investors can co-invest in proprietary deals sourced and shared through the Southern Equity platform. Founded in 2008 as the family office of entrepreneur Allen Nance, Southern Equity became a multi-family office in 2021. Southern Equity always invests its own capital first before seeking co-investors. Today, Southern Equity's investments encompass more than 50 companies that generate over a billion dollars of revenue annually, employing more than 5,000 people globally — and growing.
